I read a quote the other day, “Forget inspiration, habit is more dependable.” Octvia Butler

Habit will sustain you whether you’re inspired or not.Habit will help you finish and polish your stories, inspiration won’t.

It made me think about how long I sat in the waiting room waiting for inspiration to show up before I even tried when in reality, I just needed to commit to one small thing each day.
